LMFAO With the loss of Edmonds, how do you think your team will do without your all star outfielder?

LMFAO With the loss of Edmonds, how do you think your team will do without your all star outfielder? Well, we're trying to win now as well as build for the future and at 35, Edmonds' skills are beginning to decline. I acquired a good, young center fielder in Duffy and have a good addition in Hammonds. We may not hit as many homeruns this year, but I think with Eckstein, Duffy, Pujols, Rolen, and Encarnacion, we should score plenty of runs.

Do you think Chris Carpenter can repeat a season as good as last years was?

Do you think Chris Carpenter can repeat a season as good as last years was? I think he can. He's looked real good in camp and I think he's just beginning to hit his prime. I think as long as he continues to work with the coaches and Yadier, he should be just as dominant as last year.

How do you feel about the growing competition in the NL Central?

Going along with Brewers, do you feel the level of competition has finally caught up, or prehaps even passed you?

To be honest, I'm kind of excited that the level of competition has picked up in the central, but we still fully expect to win the division. We should have a competitive division for years to come, but we plan to remain on top.

Okay, your pitching is really good in my views, but my question is besides for Pujols and Rolen, how do you feel about the rest of your batting lineup? Do you feel your team can do the little things to win? Do you think your team needs some offensive help?

Do you feel your team can do the little things to win? Do you think your team needs some offensive help? In my opinion, pitching is what wins championships. I agree that our offense isn't as deadly as it has been and other than Pujols and Rolen, we really don't have anyone that can produce a lot of homeruns. However, I think we have enough hitters to produce a lot of runs. That being said, I'll listen to offers for a power hitter...
